On the Second Day of Christmas.....

Philipp came to visit! He went to church with us on Sunday and then spent the rest of the afternoon here....he was busy (and I think the boys helped out a little bit too) getting all his stuff ready to be transported to Boston!
So after some yummy pizza (because we *always* have pizza when Philipp comes over....just ask Bug!) and packing and moving of boxes, the boys could hardly contain their excitement because it was time to open presents ~ YAY!

Bird received some tools that will come in mighty handy! For Bug there was a gummy bug making kit and for Bean a windmill generator for our budding engineer =)

Bird was so excited about his tools ~ he put his little hands on his cheeks and said, "oh my goodness!" as Philipp opened up the backpack of tools.

And then he started getting silly....although we started to speculate that perhaps he has the wrong "tools" ~ maybe he'll be a plastic surgeon specializing in nose jobs?? =P

Then it was time for our resident mad scientist to get down to buginess....creating some gummy bugs from his science kit. He loved using the pipette.

Then out in the workshop we have the two engineers busy at work, creating GREEN energy =) When the windmill turns, it creates enough energy to turn on a little light connected to the bottom of the windmill ~ it was quite the project! Bean thinks it is totally cool =)
And of course you see Bird out there with his tools....getting down to business =)
