Busy, Busy, Busy!

We've had a couple of busy days!
When Mosh and Poppa were out feeding the goats on Thursday evening, Bean and Bug found the Tonka Truck that Matt M gave Bug for his second birthday. So Bug decided that he had some big digging to do ~ the pajamas and sunglasses are nice touch huh?!? :o)

Poppa took Friday off of work, so that was our big "going to town" day. We did grocery shopping, stopped by the PO to mail a care package off to cousin Luke (he is a Capt. in the Army and is in Kuwait right now), picked out a couple books and movies at the library and on our way home Poppa took the boys in to see some of the people he works with.

When we got home from town, Poppa and Bean went out and butchered four chickens. That was an interesting experience for Bean. He didn't seem bothered by it (thank goodness.....when I was younger and Dad said it was time for some "family bonding" that meant it was chicken butchering time).

Poppa has a bear skull in the basement, but Bug likes to say it is "dinosaur bones." Bug is so interested in dinosaurs right now. He asked me to take some pictures of him with the bones.

This morning Poppa rigged up and chair to hold Bird while he fed him. Bird thought he was pretty big stuff sitting in such a "big boy" chair.

This afternoon Bean was brushing Chapin. Bean must finally be big enough for her that she trusts him. She didn't try to get up once while Bean was brushing her. I remember the last time that Bean was brushing her we had to tell Chapin to sit still ~ but not this time!
