First day of school (a week late)

What else is new? I'm once again late in updating the blog...seems to be happening more and more frequently ~ and unfortunately I don't see this becoming LESS of an occurance!
Anyway, Bean had his first day back to school last Tuesday and Bug had his first day of school ever!


Bug was skipping to school (yes, neither of his feet are touching the ground in this picture) =P

We dropped Bean off at his building and then walked Bug over to where the kindergarteners were lining up. We found his teacher's name,

He put his backpack down and went to do some swinging before the whistle blew.

They lined up and walked into school.
What happened next was heartbreaking.
Doodle refused to go home.

He parked his trike, crossed his arms and cried. He cried for Bug who wasn't coming home with him. He cried inconsolably for awhile. I finally convinced him to come home with me by offering him a frozen banana dipped in chocolate.

We ate our bananas, watched a movie and snuggled until 11:15AM when it was time to walk back to the school to pick Bug up.
Little did Doodle know, "Help" was just a couple hours away!
