Swimming!

After church on Sunday we headed down to Nana and PawPaw's house to do some swimming. We had perfect weather for the pool! The boys got suited up shortly after we arrived and decided to try out the water.

It was Bird's first time in a swimming pool and he did great! He wasn't one bit afraid of the water. He was really interested in leaning over the side of the little floatie and splashing the water. I was really surprised at how well he did in the pool.

Bean jumped off the diving board for the first time. It took a little bit of coaxing, but after the first "scary" time, he was fine to climb up on the board and jump in as long as there was someone at the end of the board to catch him when he jumped. He motored right along in the pool with his "water wings." He was even swimming around in the deep end of the pool with the water wings on. I think he'll be a good little swimmer in no time at all!

We had such a good day spending time with Nana and PawPaw and enjoying the company and the pool. I know the boys will want to go back and swim a couple more times before the summer season is over. :o)
