Game 3

Bean's team won their third game. The score was 4-0. They are really starting to play better as a team. They worked on NOT playing "mob ball" at practice (pushing and shoving each other) and also with passing amongst each other. We were so thankful that the rain held off and the sun actually peeked out a little bit towards the end of the game.

Bean played defense the first and second quarters of the game.

Bean doing a little celebration jump after the first goal was scored (he was playing defense this quarter ~ as you can see from the other defense player, there wasn't a whole lot of action down at that end of the field...which I guess is a good thing).

Bean got to throw the ball in from being kicked out of bounds and he also got to do a corner kick!

Where were Bug and Bird you wonder? Why they were over at home plate...playing in the sand/water/gravel ~ we thought Bean's game was going to get rained out (80% chance of rain) but thankfully it didn't!

Bean played forward the third quarter of the game. He did a really good job passing the ball to his teammates.

This little girl was cracking me up. Contrary to what it looks like she actually is quite a good little soccer player ~ she was resting the first quarter though, and when it came time for her to play in the second quarter she wasn't real enthused about playing....she would have preferred to stay playing in the sand/gravel/water mixture with Bug.
Bug being silly.
No game or practice is ever complete without this little boy bawling at least 4-5 times PER game/practice. Sigh.....
