Friends!

On Sunday our friends, Martin and Patricia and their daughter Valaria visited us. They are on vacation in MI (Martin used to work with Weston, but after the company closed its doors in MI Martin and Patricia moved to CA and eventually back to Switzerland). Since we last saw them, Valaria and Bird were born. Valaria is roughly 1.5 months older than Bird.
Valaria loves to hug ~ and when she hugged Bird he tried to escape and run as fast as he could away from her. We all laughed. Valaria also likes to chase kids ~ Bug thought that was great fun. He'd tell her to chase him and start running ~ Bird on the other hand, did NOT like to be chased.

Here are a couple pictures of Bird and Valaria. Weston brought up the boys Bilibos so Valaria and Bird could play with them.
After visiting we walked down to the ice cream store and all had cones ~ here are Valaria and Bird waiting for their ice cream :o)

After much playing and walking, it was time for them to go. Valaria was getting tired....but she was able to grab onto Bug and give him a big hug good-bye.

I'm so happy we get to see them at least one more time before they leave to go back to Switzerland.
