What Do You Get When You Mix Leap Day and the Youth Group?

Lots of fun!
We had our church's youth group over on the 29th for the "Youth Olympiad." They played different games and ate Chinese food.
While Keith (Youth pastor) was playing ping pong with some of the kids, Bug was putting the moves on Keith's wife...otherwise known as "Concole" to Bug (or Bean calls her "Micole"). Of course once I took out the camera, Bug thought it was a photo shoot and kept telling me to take more pictures of him and then he immediately wanted to see "his" pictures ~ silly boy!

The "events" at the Olympiad were: Individuals Ping Pong, Round Robin, Pit, Football Kick, Rock'em Sock'em, and Pinball (on the computer).

The *big* winners were:

Derrick for Individuals Ping Pong and Round Robin

Shayna for Pit and Pinball

Ryan for Football Kick

Alysia for Rock'em Sock'em.

And the "top dog" was Shayna.....even though she wasn't going to participate in the games (she is a youth chaperone-type person) she, to use words, "dominated" the Olympiad.

In case you are wondering what they are holding, it is special trophies ~ let's just say Weston had a little too much fun at the $1 store buying "trophies" for the Olympiad :o)
