Story Time at the Library

On October 23 we had Story Time at the library with "slightly spooky" stories and the kids were encouraged to wear their costumes.

Both Bean and Bug were just giddy about being able to wear their costumes. I put Bird in a little giraffe sleeper that used to be Bug's.

All the kids that came to story time dressed up and Ms. Lavonne (the librarian) dressed up in a couple different costumes as well. The last costume she wore was the Cat in the Hat costume. Halfway through the story time they passed out popcorn and apple cider. It was such a nice little time for the kids. I am so thankful that our library does this because the kids really enjoy it.

As you can see the stories were so "soothing" that Bird fell asleep :o)
