The Outhouse 500

I kid you not....sad to say this is one of the top 5 things to do on this side of the state during the winter. This year Weston and the men's group from church decided to enter the race. They made their camo outhouse and it was titled, "We Strive to do what disciples do, do" (there is a little toilet humor for you). They are dressed in camo because the men's group is called "God's Special Forces."
They had three teams run and I think they came in fourth place. They had to push the outhouse down main street ~ all 500 feet of it (hence the Outhouse 500). All the guys were excited though and are already planning to enter next year and where they can improve and such. I think the police dept. came in first (The Donut Chasers) or the Meat packing place (they know how to "cut the crap").

It was a fun day complete with a chili cook-off ~ it is "The fuel of the Outhouse 500"

Here are a couple pictures from the big day (last Saturday).
